Do you supply drawing stuff?

You bring everything you need to draw, we supply the models, music and atmosphere!

What about easels and/or drawing boards?

You're welcome to bring your own easels and drawing boards. We don't have any. We're more interested in nice shoes.

Is this a taught class?

We are only there to look gorgeous, not to tell you what to do.

Where are you?

Our drawing nights take place in the Guildford Music Hall which is part of the Guildford Family Hotel. Guildford is a small town located 10 minutes south of Castlemaine and 20 mins north of Daylesford. It is famous for its big tree, yearly banjo jambouree, and of course, its amazing drawing nights!

What format do your drawing sessions take?

We follow a traditional format of short poses at the start of the night and longer poses at the end. We normally have two regular models and one guest model per session. Long poses are normally 20 - 30 mins long. But we can accomodation requests for longer poses for future events.

I'm there for the drink! 

Ok, you can get your drinks at the bar in the pub or we should have a fridge set up at the back of the hall. But do at least bring a small notepad and make it look like you're trying to draw a little.

I'm a complete beginner, I really want to come but I'm scared!

We have had lots of beginners at our events, as well as not so beginners. EVERYONE is welcome and we encourage ALL levels. This is more about fun and having a go.

Is this just for women?

We're the dames, not you! Men are completely welcome.

Can I get dressed up too?

Absolutely!!!

What about Covid restrictions?

These events are taking place under the Guildford Family Hotel's regulations. All attendees will have to fill in a form at the start of the night with their contact details. People per m2 will be taken into consideration and adequate spacing between seated attendees will be adheared to. If restrictions tighten we may need to rethink layout and format and in the event of lockdown the evening will be postponed.
